Course Description: A study of theoretical approaches, etiology, development, symptomatology, classification and treatment of abnormal behaviors. Epidemiological variables and research contributions are reviewed in relation to the occurrence and treatment of problematic behaviors and mental disorders. Students also learn how to utilize the professionally accepted diagnostic classification system.
