Basic Information & Organization

The Nelson Memorial Library is distinct in three ways:

  • It is an Academic Library.
  • It uses the Dewey Decimal System (DDC) to organize its books.
  • It has a connected Archives - both physical and digital.

An Academic Library is a library connected to a higher education institution that serves its students, faculty, and staff with research & information according to its curriculum. This means at Nelson University one will find many theological - specifically Christian - works and resources.
